This course prepares you for a career as a Technical Engineer in the Electrical Engineering Industry and Electrical supply sector which deals with the production, transmission, distribution and application of electricity and the manufacturing, installation, and maintenance of electrical equipment.

During the course, you will cover areas involving electrical circuit analysis using industry-standard software and simulation packages. Within our department's laboratory and workshops, you will conduct analysis using theory and practical applications of magnetic principles and practical electrical machines.

Entry Requirements

2 Highers including Maths and preferably Physics, or NC Electrical Engineering (Level 6), or other relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 6. Interview.
