You will be introduced to the subject areas of illustration, graphic design and 2D and 3D animation. Classes support the development of: research skills, idea development, drawing, how to develop a sketchbook, the design process, and digital imaging.

Other classes supplement your studies such as: life drawing, story boarding, and learning about careers within the computer arts industry. You will develop your creative and technical skills to prepare you for HN level study and on completion of the course students will have produced a broad and exciting portfolio.

Entry Requirements

2 subjects at National 5 preferably including English and an Art or Design subject; or UAL Level 2 Diploma in Art and Design at SCQF Level 5. A portfolio of your work should be shown at interview.
