This course has been designed to allow you to develop your knowledge, understanding and skills in engineering processes such as turning, bench fitting, computer aided design and hydraulics.

Units include:
Engineering: Using Information Technology; Health and Safety: Engineering; Graphical Engineering Communication; Computer Aided Draughting (CAD) for Engineers; Mechanical Engineering Principles; Pneumatics and Hydraulics; Power Dries; Engineering imenstion Control; Engineering Materials; Engineering Workshop Skills; Material Removal Practice: Turning; Applied Mathematics Skills; Communication (Intermediate 2); Problem Solving; Working with Others; Numeracy (Intermediate 2); Mathematics (Craft 1).

Entry Requirements

National 4 English and Maths or Physics and a technological subject. Interview.
