This course will allow you to enhance your understanding and skillset relating to mechanical engineering principles and practices.

Subjects Include:
CAD; Drawing; Plant systems; Heat transfer and fluid mechanics; Strength of materials.

You will also complete a project and increase your awareness of business processes and continuing professional development.

Entry Requirements

Higher Maths; or NC Mechanical Engineering (Level 6); or other relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 6.

Progression Routes

Direct entry to year 2 or 3 of an appropriate degree course at university.
