This course will build on welding and fabrication skills and knowledge gained during the SVQ Performing Engineering Operations Level 2 qualification. You will enhance your skills and knowledge on engineering materials, graphical engineering communication, CAD, Prime movers, engineering principles, MIG welding, Dimensional Control, employability skills such as IT, maths, communication and health and safety practice.

You will learn:
Engineering materials; Graphical engineering communication; CAD; Prime Mover; Engineering principles; MIG welding; Dimensional control.

Entry Requirements

SVQ Performing Engineering Operations at SCQF Level 5 plus additional Maths unit.
