This course is your foundational pathway into the dynamic and innovative world of engineering. It is specifically designed to equip you with the essential theoretical knowledge and hands-on practical skills required to confidently progress to a specialised Level 6 qualification. You will explore a variety of engineering disciplines in our modern workshops, building a solid understanding of core principles. This programme will not only develop your technical abilities but also enhance your problem-solving skills and prepare you for the next stage of your engineering education and career.

You will study:
Electrical Installation; Electrical Principles; Hand Fitting Mechanical; Welding; Turning/Milling; Numeracy; Communication; Information Technology; Health & Safety; Maths.

Entry Requirements

National 4 English and Maths. Selection is by a two stage interview process. Please note that selection will be made via a selection centre consisting of an interview, maths test and written test.
