Content

This two-year intensive course offers learners the opportunity to develop and apply skills in the key areas needed to progress to higher education or enter the creative industries. The core elements of both first and second year are Acting Skills, Acting in a Production, Voice and Movement.

In the first year we develop skills and in the second year apply these skills in a range of production opportunities in both traditional and non-traditional spaces.

Each year we have visits from theatre professionals to ensure that learners are up to date with current industry practice. We expect that you attend professional theatre productions on a regular basis and organise up to six visits a year to a range of different productions.

In the second year learners have the opportunity to take part in an international theatre visit to Romania. During the visit students work with their Romanian and Hungarian peers at the National Theatre Academy in Targu Mures.
