This acting and performance course will build on key skills gained on the NC course in Acting and Performance and is in effect years two and three of three years of continuous training.

You will learn: Acting; Production; Voice; Movement; Singing; Text and Performance; Theatre History; Acting Methods and Practitioners; Workshop Skills; Creating Drama Scripts; and Professional Development for Actors.

Please note that during production blocks you will be expected to work outwith the normal college day. Assessment will be continuous, with a mix of practical and theoretical assessments.

Entry Requirements

NC Acting and Performance (Level 6) plus audition. Relevant HNC may give you entry to year 2. Please note that priority for places is given to our own NC Acting and Performance students.

Progression Routes

BA (Hons) Contemporary Screenwriting or BA (Hons) Performance at the University of the West of Scotland.
