If you want to learn the secrets of good audio production and how to work as a freelance engineer/remixer/post production engineer, this course will provide you with the skills and knowledge you need. This course provides hands-on experience with state-of-the-art live sound and studio equipment used in today's industry.

Subjects may include: Sound production theory; Audio engineering; Mixing; Acoustics; Sound reinforcement; Digital audio workstations; The creative industries; and, Game audio design.

Entry Requirements

1 Higher, preferably Music or Music Technology, or relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 6. Entry subject to interview.

Progression Routes

Progression on to HND Sound Production or relevant degree course at university, or employment.
