This course aims to prepare you for employment in the computing and digital media industries. It will strengthen and extend your knowledge within a broad range of computing and media disciplines, both practical and theoretical.
You will have the opportunity to develop your knowledge in a variety of areas, such as computer hardware and networking, academic writing, projects and website development.
Course content includes:
Website Development; IT security; Academic skills; Hardware and systems; Network literacy; Maths; Software development; Group project: app or website; Mobile technology; Image editing; Games development.
4 subjects at National 5 (2 at B) including an English based subject; or Computing and Digital Media: Introduction; or other relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 5.
