This course aims to prepare you for employment in the computing and digital media industries. It will strengthen and extend your knowledge within a broad range of computing and media disciplines, both practical and theoretical.

You will have the opportunity to develop your knowledge in a variety of areas, such as computer hardware & networking, academic writing, projects and website development.

Course content includes:

Website Development; Advanced Office Applications; Data Security; Report Writing; Hardware and Networking; Software Development; Server Administration (optional); Audio and Image editing (optional).

Entry Requirements

4 subjects at National 5 (2 at A or B) including an English based subject; or Introduction to Computing and Digital Media (Level 5); or other relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 5.
