This course will develop the skills you will need to work in web development and associated technologies. You will be taught by industry experienced College lecturers and learn a diverse range of knowledge in; Hypertext Mark-up Language (HTML), Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), JavaScript, Structured Query Language (SQL), Content Management System (CMS) Technologies, Web Graphics, User Interface (UI), PHP (Hypertext Pre-processor), App Development and Social Media.
You will develop a mastery of the latest software packages such as Adobe as well as learning about dynamic website development using MYSQL, Mobile Technologies and Search Engine Optimisation (SEO). This course will ensure you are well prepared for employment, self-employment or university studies in web development and digital media.
3 Highers including English at B; or relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 6. You will attend for interview and complete a skills and experience screening exercise.
