Content

During this degree, you’ll develop important transferable skills including critical thinking, problem solving, communication and team working. You’ll also develop creativity skills and will build on your confidence and research abilities which will help you succeed in your career and personal life. Alongside business management specific studies, you will also choose from either Spanish or French, applying your language in the context of international business across your studies.

The MA (Hons) International Business Management with a Modern Language programme is a clear example of our career-focused approach to business and language studies. The programme will allow you to develop knowledge, understanding and subject skills related to the principles and practice of modern business management and enhancing international employability.

In your third year, you’ll spend one semester studying abroad at one of our partner universities. This is a great opportunity to further develop your language skills, as you will be immersed in the language and culture you are studying. You can choose to study Spanish or French to degree level.
Each course will equip you with highly employable expertise across business management, while honing your communication and language skills. Throughout this four-year degree, you’ll have the opportunity to choose optional courses – from organisational behaviour, strategic management, and consumer behaviour – to customise your learning and develop your specific business management interests. Your dissertation will allow you to engage in an independent in-depth critical examination of a particular business management topic, which is of interest to you.
