The HNC Day Release course is designed for candidates who are adult returners to education or those in employment who wish to enhance their career prospects, those who are, or wish to be, self-employed and require a broad grounding in business.

The HNC in Business is a comprehensive program designed to provide you with a solid foundation in various areas of business operations, management principles, and strategic decision-making. Tailored to meet the demands of today's dynamic business landscape, this qualification equips you with the essential knowledge, skills, and insights needed to thrive in a competitive marketplace.

Content includes:

Managing People and Organisations; Marketing; Economics; Business Communication; IT in Business Spreadsheets.

The course is run for one day per week for two years.

Entry Requirements

1 relevant Higher, or Foundation Apprenticeship Business Skills, or NQ Business and Management (Level 6) or other relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 6
