Access to Engineering is an entry-level course designed to give you the first step toward further study and a career in engineering.

This is an excellent option for preparing for a Modern Apprenticeship as it combines a range of practical skills with theory. Alternatively, if you choose a more academic route, it will give you the necessary grounding to pursue further full time study.

You will study:
Mechanical and Electrical Principles; EngineeringTest and Measurement; Design and Manufacture; Graphic Communications including Computer Aided Draughting; Practical Workshop skills; and Maths and Communication.
