This course gives you an introduction to Data Science. You will gather data and analyse datasets, learn to create visualisations of the results to present your findings and report on what you have found and how it can make a difference to you or others.

You will develop an understanding of how data is used in society. You will interpret data in various formats to draw interesting conclusions, investigate the reasons for unusual results or trends, and study the impact or behaviour change resulting from the analysis. You will learn how data can have both positive and negative impacts on society, such as when biased data is used in decision-making or when data is misrepresented to influence people.

All the skills you need to understand the role of a data analyst.
