This course will provide you with practical and theoretical skills in a range of vital technology areas such as Cyber Security, Software Development, and IT Services.

With a rapidly growing digital economy there is a need for a workforce with the necessary skillset to match this demand. This course provides a platform to develop your fundamental technical computing skills.

You'll study:

Authoring a Website (SQA subject); Develop Software Using Structured Query Language; Develop Software Using C#; Programming for Mobile Devices; Network Fundamental; Data Security; Server Administration Fundamentals; Ethical Hacking; Management of Projects; PC Passport: Working with IT Software - Word Processing and Presenting Information; Intro to Virtualisation.

Entry Requirements

National 5 English and Maths or Computing Science; or relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 5. Entry subject to interview.
