This innovative program is designed to equip students with essential skills and knowledge in computing. With a focus on academic excellence and practical application.

You'll study a diverse curriculum comprising mandatory and optional units in computing including:-

Computer Foundation; Professional Practice in Computing; Web development; Software development; Database Design Fundamentals; Computer Programming- Applied Mathematics; Artificial Intelligence; Emerging Technologies.

Entry Requirements

1 relevant Higher plus 2 subjects at National 5, or relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 6. Entry subject to interview.

Progression Routes

This course will prepare you for either employment in a junior developer role within the IT Industry or progression to HND Software Development second year. Also, this course provides you with the entry level to a wide range of university courses in computing.
