The HNC Musical Theatre is a specialist qualification designed for individuals passionate about performing arts and seeking professional training in musical theatre. This course focuses on developing core performance skills in singing, acting, voice, and dance, and integrating these skills in live performance.

You'll study the following subjects:

Acting Skills; Singing Skills; Vocal Techniques; Performance Skills; Dance Skills; Musical Theatre repertoire.

Entry Requirements

2 Highers including English, Dance, Drama or Music, or relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 6. Entry is by interview and audition.

Progression Routes

HND Musical Theatre (SCQF Level 8) or Degree-level study in performing arts (by audition). Employment in theatre, TV, film, cruise ships, cabaret, and more.
