This course provides students with the opportunity to gain a nationally accredited award in Engineering and provides desirable pre-apprenticeship training in Mechanical, Electrical, Fabrication and Welding. In addition to a broad range of practical skills, this course also gives an introduction to academic subjects relevant to Engineering.

Modules may include:
Communication; Mathematics: Craft 1; Engineering: Using Information Technology; Engineering Systems Principles; Engineering Systems Test & Measurement; Engineering Systems Applications; Electrical Wiring Skills; Engineering Workshop Skills; Graphical Engineering Communication; Computer Aided Draughting (CAD) for Engineers; Health and Safety: Engineering; Thermal Joining Skills.

Entry Requirements

National English, Maths and a science or technological subject. Interview.
