You'll learn how to apply environmental processes, policies and regulations to engineering challenges. For example, how to use renewable energy and recycled materials on projects to help cut carbon emissions.

Entry Requirements

2027 entry requirements:

Standard entry: 4 Highers at BBBC including a maths based subject plus National 5 Maths (if not held at Higher).

Widening access entry: 3 Highers at BBC including a maths based subject plus National 5 Maths (if not held at Higher).

Entry to year 2 is possible with 3 Advanced Highers at BBB including 2 maths based subjects.

Progression Routes

Postgraduate study or careers such as environmental manager, sustainability consultant or health, safety and environmental manager.
