This practical, hands-on course provides training in all aspects of electrical installations.

On this course, you will learn how to safely install, test, connect, and maintain domestic electrical systems while preparing for a career as an electrician.

Working within the electrical workshops, using industry standard tools and equipment to carry out electrical project work you will develop the required skills for the next steps into industry.

Content includes:
Principles of electrical science; Electrical installations technology; Electrical installations craft skills; Health & Safety; Introduction into Smart technology; Renewable technology.

Entry Requirements

Subjects at National 4, preferably including Maths and a science subject. Interview and practical skills test.
