Electrical and Electronic Engineering is at the core of the modern world, from computers to digital circuits, photonics and a wealth of electronic devices. Our society relies on Electrical Engineers for everything from low-power electrical machines, and control systems, to high-voltage electrical power generation and distribution systems.

Topics focus on a wide range of core skills and engineering skills in electrical and electronic engineering. This is the first step towards a dynamic and rewarding career in electrical engineering.

Students will spend their first two years at Forth Valley College’s state-of-the-art Falkirk Campus completing a HND in Electrical Engineering. Students will then progress to the University of Aberdeen for years three and four, with all students being guaranteed free accommodation.

The University’s teaching is delivered by world renowned experts and supported by their excellent workshop and laboratories dedicated to satellite communications, robotics, lasers and computer-aided design, as well as many others.

Entry Requirements

Higher Maths and a science or technological subject; or Foundation Apprenticeship Engineering; or relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 6. Entry subject to interview.
