This course will develop your theoretical and practical knowledge of both mechanical and electrical engineering as well as helping with the specific skills you'll need to succeed. You'll be taught by staff with significant engineering experience and a proven track record of bringing out the best in their students.
You'll work in our practical workshops where you will need to wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) which will be provided by the College.
This Engineering Systems course will equip you with an understanding of the knowledge surrounding electrical and mechanical engineering and how these disciplines work together in fields such as automated engineering and mechatronics. You'll gain an understanding of how electrical, electronic and mechanical circuits work, the variety of components and systems that you may encounter in the Manufacturing Industry, together with the tools and skills required to work in the sector.
4 subjects at National 4 including Maths (Applications of Maths not accepted) and preferably a science subject. Interview.
