This program provides learners with a comprehensive understanding of modern software design, development, and testing techniques. Students will gain hands-on experience with a variety of programming languages and development tools, learning to apply structured methodologies for analysing user requirements and creating software solutions that address those needs effectively.

Software Development; Professional Practice in Software Development; Application Development for Web; Code Security; Database Design and Development; DevOps Principles and Practice; Emerging Technologies and Experiences; Event Driven Programming; Human Computer Interface; Software Engineering Methods.

Entry Requirements

Relevant HNC. Interview.

Progression Routes

Successful students can progress on to year three of BSc (Hons) Computing, Internet Systems Development, or Web Systems Development at Glasgow Caledonian University.
