This fully-funded BSc (Hons) Cyber Security Graduate Apprenticeship is a degree-level qualification designed to equip successful candidates with the skills and knowledge required to thrive in the increasingly complex field of cyber security.
The course content is developed in line with the shifting demands of the communication networks, security engineering and digital forensics sector to strengthen your business's cyber defence. Year 1
Programming 1; Mathematics for Computing; Fundamentals of Computing; Computer Networking 1; Web Platform Development 1; Integrated Project 1 (CCIS).
Year 2
Secure Systems Administration, Computer Networking 2, Cyber Security Operations, Database Development, Programming 2, Integrated Design Project 2.
Year 3
Digital Forensics Investigation, Ethical Hacking, Regulating the Information Society, Research Skills and Professional Issues, Integrated Design Project 3, Governance and Risk Management.
Year 4
Honours Project (CCIS) Internet Security, Malware Analysis, Web Application Security, Applied Digital Security, Applied Digital Forensics.
2026 entry requirements
4 Highers at BBCC including Maths, Computing Science or a science subject.
