Focussing on applied computer science, you’ll learn to create software and apps inspired by state-of-the-art developments in the field. This includes core modules like AI, Green Computing and Large Language Models (LLMs). Guest lectures and industry-mentored projects also help you to put your expertise into practice.

Artificial Intelligence (AI); Green Computing; Programming in C++; Hardware Architecture and Operating Systems; Software Engineering; Data Structures and Algorithms; Large Language Models (LLMs).

Standard entry: 4 Highers at BBBB including 1 from Maths, Computing Science, Geography or a science or technological subject plus National 5 Maths (if not held at Higher).

Widening access entry: 3 Highers at ABB including 1 from Maths, Computing Science, Geography or a science or technological subject plus National 5 Maths (if not held at Higher).
