This course is designed for the study of electrical and electronic engineering and enables progression to higher levels of study to University or to second year of HND electrical Engineering.

You will study:
Power Systems; Electrical Machine Principles; Power Electronics; Mathematics; Programmable Logical Controllers; Application of Instruments; DC and AC principles; Three Phase System; Electrical Safety.

Entry Requirements

Higher Maths and a science or technological subject, or Foundation Apprenticeship Engineering, or relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 6.

Progression Routes

HND or second year of a relevant degree.
