This course will introduce you to a broad range of creative and technical skills in media production, and give you an understanding of the reality of the sector and possible progression paths and future careers.
It will suit people who are wanting to pick up some basic skills and knowledge in media production, people returning to education after some time, moving from general to more specialised learning, or those who are looking to make a career change.
The emphasis is on project work and you will develop practical skills and theoretical understanding while working on a series of short audio, visual and interactive media productions.
You will be encouraged to develop effective working practices and professional behaviours across a range of stimulating and increasingly demanding activities and you will be encouraged to take increasing responsibility for your own learning as the course progresses.
