Scottish Borders Campus
This course will provide candidates with opportunities to enhance their game-playing skills, organise and compete in esports events regionally and nationally and also develop the essential digital skills that are required in the modern-day working environment.
Upon successful completion, candidates will achieve the following awards:
NPA Esports at SCQF Level 5
NPA Cyber Security at SCQF Level 5
NPA Games Design at SCQF Level 5.
Some of the units included cover topics such as:
Game Performance
The Esports Industry
Organising and Promoting Events.
3 relevant subjects at National 4, or relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 4. Subject to successful interview. Applicants with no formal qualifications will be considered on an individual basis.
