The HNC Computing course is an SQA qualification that aims to meet the challenges of employers seeking qualified learners who can demonstrate knowledge and skills in a range of technology areas.

It's designed to teach you the skills necessary to design, implement and support IT systems in a vast range of industries.

You will develop a range of contemporary vocational skills (eg technical computing skills) relating to the use and support of IT systems.

The award provides a flexible curriculum to meet the needs of candidates in employment, recognising their existing experience and skills and will prepare students for progression to further study in Computing or a related discipline.

Entry Requirements

1 relevant Higher plus 2 subjects at National 5, or relevant NQ, or other relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 6. Interview.
