This course will give you a technical grounding in Electrical Power, Generation, Electrical Safety, and Instrumentation, and will cover the following subjects:
Engineering Mathematics; Communications; DC and AC Principles; 3 Phase Systems; Electrical Power Systems; Electrical Machine Principles; Electrical Safety; Applications of Programmable Logic Controllers; Networks and Resonance; IT Applications Software; Electrical Installation Skills.
Higher Maths and Physics or a technological subject, or NC Electrical Engineering (Level 6), or other relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 6. Interview.
