Content includes:

hand fitting techniques for component production; wiring and testing electrical equipment and circuits; forming and assembling electrical cable enclosures and support systems; practical electronics, building digital and analogue circuits; essential skills in numeracy, communication, team-work and problem solving; IT skills, including word processing, databases, spreadsheets, and graphics.

Entry Requirements

3 subjects at National 4, preferably including English and Maths, or relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 4. Interview and aptitude test.

Relevant NC programme at Level 6.
