Throughout this course you will be studying a wide range of subject areas that will ensure that you have the best foundation to progress to the next stage of your studies.

The course includes:

Communication NC, Literature 1 (Equivalent of Higher English); Numeracy; Foundations of care practice; Medical Terminology and Practical Skills; Biology (Higher Human Biology units); First Aid; Mental Health Care.

The course also has experience in a healthcare working environment

You will be assessed in a variety of ways during the course. These will include essays, reports, presentations, and projects based on course content, as closed book assessments.

Entry Requirements

4 subjects at National 5 including English and Biology. Interview.

You will require a satisfactory criminal record check from Disclosure Scotland to show that you are suitable for this type of course. Contact Disclosure Scotland for details on the type you would need.
