Esports is one of the fastest-growing professional sports in the world.

This course is designed to give an introduction to Esports, Esport careers, and opportunities. You will develop knowledge and skills for the Esports industry alongside a range of transferable skills that can be used in any career.

The programme offers you the opportunity to attain the SQA National Progression Award in Esports. With units such as an introduction to Esports, explore video game characters, narrative and design as well as the creation of an Esports brand, organisation of an Esports tournament and live-stream broadcasting.

Entry Requirements

No formal qualifications are required; however, it is desirable that students possess one of the following:

Core Skills in ICT or Numeracy at SCQF Level 4/5 or National Units in Computing or Maths.
