This new 2-year Foundation Degree is the first of its kind in Scotland, and it will help you develop the skills you need to build a career in esports.

Esports is not just about playing games competitively; it is an exciting, multidisciplinary industry that requires diverse skills.

In the first year, you will study:

Introduction to digital marketing; Esports culture and context; Gameplay principles and strategies; Introduction to esports wellbeing and performance; Working in the creative and digital industries.

This Foundation Degree is similar to HNC/SCQF level 7 in year one and HND/SCQF level 8 in year two and is validated by the University of West London (UWL).

Entry Requirements

1 Higher plus 4 subjects at National 5 at A or B, or relevant Foundation Apprenticeship, or relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 6.

Progression Routes

Successful students will be able to progress to various opportunities such as University articulation, industry placements, full time employment.
