Want to develop your bakery skills? This course will help you gain the practical experience, knowledge and qualifications needed for a job in the Bakery Industry.
You'll have the opportunity to study and train for a career as a baker or cake decorator, with excellent career opportunities and progression routes.
Your course will include a variety of hands-on practical and theory-based units:
Craft Baking; Royal Icing & Sugar Paste skills; Aeration; Food Hygiene; Measuring and Mixing; Preparing to Work; Numeracy.
4 subjects at National 4 including English and Maths or Applications of Maths and preferably Health and Food Technology or Practical Cookery; or relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 4. All applicants will be invited for interview.
