City of Glasgow College is delighted to partner with the University of Strathclyde in the delivery of the Engineering Academy Programme. This is a pioneering programme that offers you an alternative route into university and employment as a Strathclyde student. The first year is an enhanced HNC programme at the college with direct transfer into second year of one of the engineering degrees at Strathclyde University.

Strathclyde and City of Glasgow College have piloted the latest qualification from SQA which is the NextGen HNC in Engineering. We deliver the Mechanical Engineering options along with some additional units to give an enhanced HNC that prepares you for year 2 at Strathclyde.

Entry Requirements

4 Highers at BBBC including Maths and Engineering Science or Physics at B. Foundation Apprenticeship Engineering will be accepted in place of one non-essential Higher.
