The National Qualification in Music is aimed at aspiring musicians keen to develop skills in the pop, rock and indie genres, be those school leavers, adult returners or those currently working in the music industry.

This one-year full-time course will prepare you for a career in today’s music industry. You will perform, record, and write music in a professional environment, playing gigs in venues across the city.

Instrumental/Vocal Skills; Live Performance; Song Writing and Composing; Keyboard Skills; Music Literacy; Aural Skills; Music Technology.

Entry Requirements

No formal entry requirements, National 5 English preferred. Entry by audition.

HNC/D level study
