This two-year, full-time HND Music (Guitar) course develops your playing, creativity, and confidence as a professional guitarist. You’ll perform live, record in professional studios, and collaborate with musicians across genres — building a versatile skill set for today’s ever-changing music industry.

The course includes classes on the following:
First Study – Guitar; Live Performance; Digital Audio Workstations; Music Theory & Rhythm Studies; Songwriting & Composition; Music Business for Musicians; Music History & Context.

Entry Requirements

Higher Music, or NQ Music - Guitar (Level 6); or other relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 6. Entry by interview and audition. Grade 5 or above in the chosen instrument from Trinity Rock School, London College of Music or ABRSM.

Progression Routes

Possible progression to degree level course.
