This two-year full-time course will prepare you for a career in today’s music industry. You will perform, This two-year, full-time HND Music (Composition) course develops your creative voice as a composer and songwriter, preparing you for work across performance, production, and media industries. You’ll collaborate with performers, work in professional studios, and learn how to shape ideas from first draft to finished track.

The course includes classes on the following:
First Study (weekly instrument/composition lessons); Live Performance Collaboration; Digital Audio Workstations; Music Theory & Harmony; Songwriting Techniques; Music Business for Musicians; Music History & Context.

Entry Requirements

Higher Music, or relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 6. Entry by interview and portfolio. Grade 5 or above in the chosen instrument from Trinity Rock School, London College of Music or ABRSM.

Possible progression to degree level course.
