This course is ideal for anyone aiming to begin a career in the video games industry, particularly within Scotland's thriving creative sector. It provides a comprehensive introduction to the core areas of modern game development, including 3D modelling and animation, character creation, gameplay design, and both games and computer programming.

You will study:
3D Modelling and Animation; Character creation; Games programming; Computer programming; Animation fundamentals; Games portfolio; Gameplay; eSport game performance; Developmental drawing; Computing project; 3D modelling and printing; NPA Computer games development.

Entry Requirements

3 subjects at National 4 including English, Maths and preferably an art based or science or technological subject; or Certificate: Computing with Computer Games Design and Cyber Security (Level 4) or other relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 4. Interview and pre-entry test.
