The course covers a full range of areas, allowing learners to gain exposure to the many different aspects of the digital sector, and enabling them to make a more informed choice as to which area they are most interested in.

As well as achieving National Progression Awards in Computer Games Development, Cyber Security and Digital Media, you will also receive a CISCO Certificate on completion of the CISCO Get Connected unit. CISCO is the worlds most robust IT infrastructure brand and a well known household name for global tech companies. It is part of Microsoft's infrastructure.

You will also be introduced to games design and development, including the use of the Games Engine Unreal. Unreal is the worlds most advanced and cutting-edge real time 3D creation tool.

Subjects Include:
Computer Programming for Beginners; Digital forensics; Computer Games: Design, Media Assets and Development; Digital Media: Audio, Still Images and Moving Images; Website design fundamentals; Introduction to computer networking; Get Connected; Unreal Games Engine for Beginners.

Entry Requirements

National 3 English, Maths and a science or technological subject, 1 National 4 preferred, interview.
