You’ll learn about:
Live Music Performance; Music Rehearsal Skills; Improving Instrumental Performance (including graded instrument tuition); Structure of the Music Business; Music Theory.

This course is designed for musicians who wish to improve and develop their instrumental technique and live performance skills. This is a vocational qualification, meaning that the entire course is based around you gaining real world experience, and all the skills that you develop on the course will match the requirements of being a musician in the music industry.

Entry Requirements

No formal entry requirements. Entry subject to interview. You are expected to have at least Grade 3 on your instrument (Instruments supported are Bass, Drums, Guitar, Keyboards and Vocals).

Progression Routes

Successful completion of this course will enable students to apply to further study FE courses or possibly progress to HN level courses in Music, Sound Production or Music Business
