In the Hospitality Department, the college prides itself in training the future Chefs and Food Service Personnel by using ‘the islands larder’ to prepare you with the skills and knowledge to work in the sector. Coming to study in the department, you will be fully equipped with the latest industry courses including: Licensing law, Food Hygiene, Allergen Controls and the Worldhost Principles of Customer Care Certificate so you can give the highest level of customer care.

The department runs the Overblikk Training Restaurant where the student cohort will gain valuable experience and develop confidence in serving customers.

Entry Requirements

4 subjects at National 4 including English, or relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 4.
