The BSc (Hons) nursing programme has been designed to meet the needs of the future nurse within today’s health and social care services. This course provides the opportunity to provide person-centred care in practice to people who may at any stage of life have a range of health challenges.
We prepare students to have a key role in partnership-working, caring and supporting individuals, families and communities to promote health, prevent ill-health, and enable people to improve their mental and physical wellbeing. We prepare nurses to work as part of multi-agency teams, in a range of healthcare settings, and our links with hospitals, community, and service-users ensure our course is evidence-based and meets the needs of providers and users of health and social care services.
