Do you love theatre and performing? This course offers you the opportunity to develop foundational theatre skills though preparing, rehearsing and performing.

You will also cultivate essential performance analysis skills and understanding of how theatre is produced. The course includes theatrical make up, costume construction, running a performance and preparing for an audition, providing an excellent start for your theatre education and career.

Subjects covered include:
Acting Skills; Movement Skills; Drama Theatre Skills in Performance; Stage Make-up; Voice Skills; Theatre Performance.

Entry Requirements

National 5 in a relevant subject such as English or Drama.

Progression Routes

HNC Acting and Performance or year 1 of BA (Hons) Drama and Production
