Travel and tourism is a diverse and vibrant industry with vast employment opportunities regionally, nationally, and internationally.

The aim of this course is to deliver enhanced, emerging and vocationally relevant Travel & Tourism sector skills that will improve your employment prospects in this industry.

You will study: Structure of the Travel and Tourism Industry; Creating a Culture of Customer Care; Preparation for Employment in Travel and Tourism; Communication: Business Communication; Information Technology; Working as Senior Cabin Crew; Tour Guiding and Resort Representation;
Sustainable Development in Travel & Tourism; Visitor Attraction Operations; International Tourist Destinations.

Entry Requirements

1 relevant Higher plus 4 relevant subjects at National 5, or Advanced Certificate: Tourism, Events and Business, or other relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 6. Interview.
