Content

This course will develop your skills and knowledge in the Travel and Tourism sector and provide you with opportunities to visit a number of visitor attractions, attend a tourism conference and meet people who work in the industry. The course will help to improve your key employability skills.

You will study: Structure of the Travel and Tourism Industry; Creating a Culture of Customer Care; Preparation for Employment in Travel and Tourism; Communication: Business Communication; Information Technology; Working as Senior Cabin Crew; Tour Guiding and Resort Representation;
Sustainable Development in Travel & Tourism; Visitor Attraction Operations; International Tourist Destinations.

Entry Requirements

1 relevant Higher plus 4 relevant subjects at National 5, or Advanced Certificate: Tourism, Events and Business, or other relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 6. Interview.
