Content

The course has been designed to give the student hands-on experience of the main areas of engineering such as Motor Vehicle, Electrical, Fabrication and Welding, Mechanical Engineering and will also have Renewables content leading to a Renewable Energy project.

All subjects are concerned with learning the skills within each area and transferring knowledge and understanding between the engineering disciplines being taught.

A project involving all areas except motor vehicle will be utilised to give a practical example of the knowledge transfer where motor vehicle will have a stand alone project.

Entry Requirements

No formal entry qualifications are required, however, evidence that you can work at National 3/4 level is desirable. Interview.

Progression Routes

The routes that a successful student can take are to enter any of engineering areas offered within the course at the next level of course available.
