If you’re interested in a career in computing and IT systems or the cyber security industry, this course can help you on your way. This course will give you the skills you need to design, implement and support IT systems in a wide range of industries. It focuses on the key areas of software development, databases, interface design, troubleshooting and cyber security.

Content includes:

cybersecurity fundamentals using cutting-edge technologies; digital forensics process for computers, networks, and virtual infrastructures; design, implementation, and maintenance of secure network infrastructure; threats, protocols, and security measures for wireless devices; and, exploration of computer operating systems. Plus, get hands-on experience with a team-based ICT project.

Entry Requirements

HNC Cyber Security, with a minimum of 15 credits. Interview.

Progression Routes

Entry to year 2 of a degree through the college's articulation arrangements.
